BlackBox Studios Fall Recital 2026: Nutcracker Suite

The ballet students of BlackBox Studios present the Fall Recital 2026: Nutcracker Suite. This shortened version of the classic ballet The Nutcracker is based off of E.T.A. Hoffmann’s 1816 short story that was adapted into a ballet by choreographer Marius Petipa and composer Pyotri Ilyich Tchaikovsky. The ballet originally premiered in 1892 in St. Petersburg, Russia, and has since become an annual holiday tradition all around the world.
